Basketball Game Recap: Tripp-Delmont/Armour vs. Gayville-Volin

After flying high against Freeman this past Thursday, the Gayville-Volin Raiders came back down to earth. This past Saturday, Gayville-Volin lost to the Tripp-Delmont/Armour Nighthawks by a decisive 61-47 margin. The Raiders might have entered gameday a little too confident, resting on the laurels of their 54-38 victory against Armour when they previously met earlier this month.

Gayville-Volin's defeat pushed them down to 14-8. Armour's win brought them up to 10-13.

Gayville-Volin will take on Burke/South Central on Thursday. Like Gayville-Volin, Burke/South Central is looking to wash their mouths of the taste of defeat after falling 67-55 to Corsica/Stickney. As for the Nighthawks, they will go up against Colome on Friday. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close contest.
