Baseball Recap: Lexington Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Lexington's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Richmond Spartans on Thursday. The Minutemen were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Spartans earlier this season, when they won 8-7.

Lexington is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15. As for Richmond, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9.

Lexington and Richmond could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. The Minutemen (ranked 370th) will meet Knob Noster (ranked 172nd) at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Richmond will take on Lawson at 4:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank disadvantage (349 vs. 41).
