Baseball Recap: Fulshear Wins Going Away Against Lake Creek

Fulshear picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They blew past the Lake Creek Lions 9-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chargers.

Fulshear let Caden Hoff and Luke Betencourt run wild. Hoff scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Betencourt scored two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Hoff is also on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stole at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Mark Macklin was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Fulshear's win bumped their record up to 7-3-1. As for Lake Creek, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Fulshear will face off against Brenham at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lake Creek, they will be taking part in a tournament against Waller at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
