Victor let Fairport stack five runs on them in the fourth inning on Monday but luckily Victor prevailed anyway. The Blue Devils had just enough and edged out the Red Raiders 7-6. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Red Raiders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Ryleigh Fontana, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Lenhard, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Victor's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Fairport, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Victor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fairport, they will take on Webster Thomas at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Raiders have a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with four straight defeats, while the Titans will come in with nine straight victories.
