Cambridge Springs had won nine straight home games dating back to last season and Brandon Hoover did his part to make it ten on Saturday. The Devils really took it to the Cochranton Cardinals for the full four quarters, racking up a 42-0 win for which the team can thank Hoover, who rushed for 227 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.6 yards per carry. He has become a key player for Cambridge Springs: the team is 7-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.

Cambridge Springs didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Hoover and Colton Hoover. Brandon's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 121 rushing yards. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Cambridge Springs' victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Cochranton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Cambridge Springs nor Cochranton have any future games scheduled.
