Basketball Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

Franklin lost to Wilcox-Hildreth back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Flyers lost 59-36 to the Falcons. The Flyers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Drew Blank had an outrageously good game for Wilcox-Hildreth as he shot 53% from the field to rack up 19 points along with six boards and five assists. Those 19 points gave Blank a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Lienemann, who posted ten points and five rebounds.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Wilcox-Hildreth, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-15.

Franklin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wilcox-Hildreth, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 66-49 loss against Overton on the 24th.
