Baseball Recap: Southern Door Comes Up Short

Southern Door and Mishicot squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Southern Door had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Indians by a score of 4-2. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Southern Door saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Baudhuin, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. Mason Paye also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Southern Door's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Mishicot, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Southern Door nor Mishicot have any future games scheduled.
