Basketball Game Preview: St. Raphael Academy Saints vs. Moses Brown Quakers

The St. Raphael Academy Saints are taking a road trip to take on the Moses Brown Quakers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, St. Raphael Academy came up short against Mt. Hope and fell 59-51.

Meanwhile, Moses Brown faced South Kingstown in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. Moses Brown snuck past South Kingstown with a 70-65 win. Winning may never get old, but the Quakers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Moses Brown's win came from a few key players St. Raphael Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Otis Crosby, who went 6 for 10 on his way to 22 points and eight rebounds. His evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Donovan Clement, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten boards.

Moses Brown was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Kingstown only racked up 13 assists.

St. Raphael Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Moses Brown, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
