Dixie County has gone 8-1 against Bronson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bears will take on the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Dixie County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Dixie County turned things around against St. John Paul II on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Panthers 4-2.

Huntley Hines spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on seven hits.

At the plate, Dixie County's win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Matthew DeMille, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Bronson fell victim to Chiefland and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Indians, falling 11-0. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Bronson's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Dixie County, their victory bumped their record up to 12-10.

Bronson's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Dixie County hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .323. It's a different story for Bronson, though, as they've only averaged .257. Will they be able to contain Dixie County's hitters?

Everything went Dixie County's way against Bronson in their previous meeting back in February of 2025, as Dixie County made off with an 18-7 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
