Southwind had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.4 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 68-32 victory over the Center Hill Mustangs. The Jaguars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Southwind to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ronald Towns, who shot 60% from the field en route to 15 points. Towns has also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 57% every time he's hit the court this season. Jhordan Chaffin was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Southwind smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in ten consecutive games.

Southwind's record now sits at 8-3. As for Center Hill, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southwind won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Fayette Ware at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Jaguars' defense better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 80.4 points per game this season. Center Hill and South Panola will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
