While Westridge's victory against Canyon wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Cowboys 2-1 on Saturday. The win was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won three games in a row.

Westridge now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Canyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.

Westridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against San Dimas on the 16th. As for Canyon, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Paraclete at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
