Softball Recap: Krum Comes Up Short

Krum fell victim to Van Alstyne and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-5 on Thursday.

Krum saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jazmine Jackson, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Krum and nudges their season record down to 22-5. As for Van Alstyne, they pushed their record up to 20-6 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road.

While Krum had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Saturday.
