It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Tecumseh had no problem doing just that on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Southmont Mounties as they made off with a 12-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Braves, who have now won eight contests in a row.
The team relied heavily on Madi Isaacs, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Adley Staples, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs.
They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Tecumseh lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Southmont didn't launched any.
Tecumseh's victory bumped their record up to 27-4. As for Southmont, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 19-6 record.
Tecumseh didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-0 win against Eastern Hancock on the 6th. Southmont does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
