Basketball Recap: Raymond Central Takes a Loss

Raymond Central lost a heartbreaker to Louisville when they met back in January of 2024, and they left with a heavy heart again on Tuesday. The Raymond Central Mustangs fell to the Louisville Lions 61-57. The Mustangs have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Louisville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jase Ostblom led the charge by putting up 20 points. Another player making a difference was Alex Sorensen, who posted 16 points.

Raymond Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Louisville, their win bumped their record up to 8-12.

Looking ahead, Raymond Central will face off against Fort Calhoun at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Louisville, they will square off against Arlington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
