Morse and Lincoln Academy are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2019, but likely not for long. The Shipbuilders will venture away from home to challenge the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Lincoln Academy took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Morse, who comes in off a win.

Morse came out on top against Brunswick on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run first inning. The Shipbuilders walked away with a 9-5 win over the Dragons. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 24, 2019, but that streak is no more.

Meanwhile, Lincoln Academy lost 13-1 to Gardiner on Thursday.

B Coffin made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with four stolen bases and one run.

Lincoln Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Morse, their victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-12.

Morse was able to grind out a solid win over Lincoln Academy in their previous matchup on May 8th, winning 17-12. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Shipbuilders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
