Softball Recap: Jamaica Comes Up Short

After flying high against Grover Cleveland last Thursday, Jamaica came back down to earth. The Beavers fell 7-3 to the Columbus Sharks on Friday. The matchup marked the Beavers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Jamaica's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Columbus, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

Jamaica does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Columbus, they will square off against Walton at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
