Baseball Recap: Trinity Makes It Five in a Row at Home

While Trinity didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with an 11-7 win over the Southwestern Randolph Cougars on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Trinity pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Southwestern Randolph, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Looking ahead, Trinity will challenge Uwharrie Charter Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southwestern Randolph, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Southwestern Randolph Cougars duke it out with Randleman Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Randleman will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Southwestern Randolph surely won't give up without a fight.
