Volleyball Recap: Hiawatha Beats Sabetha for Their Third Straight Win

Hiawatha waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Sabetha Bluejays by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Tuesday.

The win didn't come easy: Sabetha scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19.

Remy Siebenmorgen paced Hiawatha's offense, picking up five kills. Siebenmorgen got some help from Adison Williams and her 15 assists.

Hiawatha's victory bumped their record up to 11-18. As for Sabetha, they dropped their record down to 2-18-2 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home.

Coincidentally, Hiawatha and Sabetha will both be playing Rossville the next time they take the court. The Red Hawks will host the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bluejays will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
