Softball Recap: Kerman Lions vs. Kingsburg Vikings
If Kerman was riding high fresh off their 8-1 takedown of Justin Garza last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lions fell 5-0 to the Kingsburg Vikings on Tuesday. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
Kerman saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jadyn Grewal, who went 1-for-2 with one double.
Kerman suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 7-3. As for Kingsburg, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Kerman Lions duke it out with Washington Union Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Kingsburg, they will challenge Reedley at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
