Recap: Harvey Red Raiders vs. Madison Blue Streaks

Even though the Madison Blue Streaks scored an imposing 76 points on Saturday, the Harvey Red Raiders still came out on top. Harvey took their match against Madison 83-76. For Harvey, this counts as revenge for the 77-51 defeat Madison walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Harvey was led to victory by Armani Hall and Deontae Ware. Hall shot 5-for-7 from long range and almost dropped a double-double on 26 points and nine rebounds, while Ware scored 27 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ware has scored all season. Chase Goines was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds.

Despite the loss, Madison still got an impressive performance from JP Dragas, who scored 41 points along with six rebounds and five steals. That was a full 53.9% of Madison's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Noah Barnes, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

The victory got Harvey back to even at 10-10. As for Madison, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-6.

Harvey will face off against Kirtland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Harvey focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Saturday. As for Madison, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Berkshire at 7:30 p.m. Berkshire will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Madison surely won't give up without a fight.
