Recap: Tabernacle Torches vs. Master's Hand Christian Warriors
The Tabernacle Torches waltzed into Thursday's contest with three straight wins but they left with four. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Master's Hand Christian 66-32 on the road. The result was nothing new for Tabernacle, who have now won four contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
Despite the loss, Master's Hand Christian saw an underclassman step up: Braedon Canuteson scored 6 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals. Canuteson is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season.
Tabernacle's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Master's Hand Christian, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
Tabernacle will look to defend their home court on Friday against Central Christian at 8:30 p.m. Central Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 299th, while Tabernacle is ranked 97th). As for Master's Hand Christian, they will face off against Chilton Christian Academy at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
