Volleyball Game Preview: Lawrence Tigers vs. Bangor Vikings

After both having extra time off, the Lawrence Tigers and the Bangor Vikings will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lawrence has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since September 12.

Lawrence lost 3-0 to Black River on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Bangor came up short against Decatur on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost three in a row.

Bangor's defeat dropped their record down to 17-4-1. As for Lawrence, their loss dropped their record down to 1-14.

Lawrence might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Bangor when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
