Forest Park skates past Lewis with ease

In what's become a running theme this season, the Forest Park Foresters gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past Lewis, posting a 81-0 victory at home. Winning may never get old, but Forest Park sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Forest Park's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chaniya Taylor led the charge by dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of NaJae Malik-El, who scored 14 points along with three steals.

Forest Park has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season. As for Lewis, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Forest Park will head out on the road to take on Academy for College and Career Exploration at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Academy for College and Career Exploration comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 13 points in their last seven games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Lewis, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Douglass at 3:00 p.m. Lewis comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last 11 games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
