Preview: Evergreen Park vs. Thornton Fractional South
On Friday, Thornton Fractional South are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Evergreen Park at 4:30 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Thornton Fractional South couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost to Thornwood by a decisive 0-18 margin. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Thornton Fractional South was outplayed in the second half.
Meanwhile, Evergreen Park took care of business in their home opener. Everything went their way against Reavis last Saturday as they made off with a 40-6 win.
Evergreen Park's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Thornton Fractional South's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Evergreen Park can add another positive mark to their record or if Thornton Fractional South can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Evergreen Park's step.
