Pinellas Park was handed a 11-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past Anclote 4-3. The victory continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Sharks: they've now won three in a row.

Pinellas Park saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter DuBois, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another was Kingston Le, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases.

Meanwhile, Indian Rocks Christian fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Wharton on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 5-2 to the Wildcats.
