Skyview entered their tilt with Gateway on Thursday with 11 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 12. They put the hurt on the Olympians with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory on Monday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-15, 25-18.

Marissa Becerra paced Skyview's offense, picking up 12 kills. Becerra got some help from Maya Esqueda and her 16 assists. Analise Barros controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Skyview's record now sits at 16-6. As for Gateway, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-15.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Skyview and Battle Mountain will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 10:00 a.m. on the 8th. The last three games the Huskies have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Gateway does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
