Basketball Game Preview: Raymore-Peculiar Panthers vs. Liberty North Eagles

Raymore-Peculiar is 1-9 against Liberty North since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Raymore-Peculiar Panthers will host the Liberty North Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Thursday, Raymore-Peculiar was beaten by Staley 64-36. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the Falcons are ranked third).

Meanwhile, Liberty North suffered their biggest defeat since December 13, 2024 on Thursday. They lost 65-40 to Blue Springs.

Raymore-Peculiar's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Liberty North, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-5.
