There's no place like home for Miami-Yoder, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Liberty Tree Academy War Eagles on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Buffaloes in their matchups with the War Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

Miami-Yoder had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-14, 25-15, 25-21.

Mindy Quintana paced Miami-Yoder's offense, picking up eight kills. Quintana got some help from Miranda Howard and her 13 assists. Howard was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Liberty Tree Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
