Game recap: Parsippany Hills' starts off strong to defeat Morristown

Parsippany Hills (Parsippany, N.J.) jumped out to an early lead against Morristown (N.J.) and never looked back on the way to a 28-7 victory on Saturday.

The Vikings scored six points in the first quarter. Parsippany Hills scored on a touchdown pass by Tyler Simms to Kire Milevski.

PH was up 21-0 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown in the first quarter.

The Parsippany school expanded its lead to 28 points entering the fourth quarter. The Vikings scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run by Carmine Verducci.

Verducci played well for Parsippany Hills in the victory. The senior running back ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored eight touchdowns on the season.

The Colonials' lone touchdown came on a 5-yard pass in the fourth quarter.



PH also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 31-13.

The victory was a step in the right direction for the Vikings, which was coming off a 14-7 defeat at the hands of Roxbury in its previous game.

Morristown (1-5) goes up against Randolph in a Northwest Jersey - National game matchup next week, while Parsippany Hills (4-1) locks horns with Delbarton also in a Northwest Jersey - National game.
