Basketball Recap: Rabun County Skates Past Providence Christian Academy with Ease + How To Watch

Rabun County lost to Providence Christian Academy back in February, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Wildcats took their game with ease, bagging a 74-42 victory over the Storm. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rabun County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Hayes Free, who went 9-for-11 en route to 23 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Huey Blalock, who dropped a triple-double with 15 points, ten boards, and ten assists.

The win made it two in a row for Rabun County and bumps their season record up to 7-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.5 points over those games. As for Providence Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Coincidentally, Rabun County and Providence Christian Academy will both be playing Elbert County the next time they take the court. The Storm will head out to face the Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Wildcats will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
