Softball Recap: Granger Comes Up Short

Granger was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Grandview Greyhounds. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Spartans couldn't push the score so high this time.

Granger's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Grandview, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Granger will be playing at home against Tri-Cities Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grandview, they will take on Sunnyside at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
