Softball Recap: Bishop Stang Takes a Loss

After soaring to 18 runs the game before, Bishop Stang was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They lost 9-1 to the Dartmouth Indians. The defeat continues a trend for the Spartans in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost three in a row.

Melanie Peckham was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Bishop Stang's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Dartmouth, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop Stang will take on Bishop Feehan at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Dartmouth, they will welcome Durfee at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
