Baseball Game Preview: Willamette Wolverines vs. Roseburg Indians

Willamette is 2-8 against Roseburg since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Willamette will look to defend their home field against Roseburg at 4:30 p.m. Roseburg took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Willamette, who comes in off a win.

Willamette picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 10-5 victory over Caldera. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolverines.

Meanwhile, Roseburg fell victim to South Salem and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saxons.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Roseburg, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Willamette couldn't quite finish off Roseburg in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 and fell 4-2. Can Willamette avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
