Basketball Game Preview: Cordova Blue Devils vs. West Point Warriors

The Cordova Blue Devils will challenge the West Point Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Two weeks ago, Cordova took a blow against Loretto, falling 76-42. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 206th in Alabama, while the Mustangs are ranked 28th in Tennessee).

Meanwhile, West Point humbled Clements with a 78-46 victory. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 24 points or more this season.

West Point is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.2 points per game. As for Cordova, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.
