Volleyball Recap: Greater Nanticoke Area Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Greater Nanticoke Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Delaware Valley Warriors. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Warriors when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Delaware Valley scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21, 25-19.

Despite the loss, Greater Nanticoke Area saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Alyvia Schneider had 14 digs. Schneider is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Greater Nanticoke Area's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Delaware Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Greater Nanticoke Area does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Delaware Valley, they will head out on the road to square off against Hanover Area at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
