Baseball Recap: St. Clair Bulldogs vs. St. James Tigers

After losing to St. James the last time they met, St. Clair decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Everything went the St. Clair Bulldogs' way against the St. James Tigers on Thursday as the St. Clair Bulldogs made off with a 9-3 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for St. Clair.

The team relied heavily on Carter Short, who scored a run and stole six bases while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Ty Record, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

On St. James' side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was James Perkins, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Drake Plummer was another key contributor, going 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI.
