Softball Recap: Poly Comes Up Short

Poly lost against Village Christian back in April of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Parrots fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 2-1.

Poly saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was JACKIE GALLARDO, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Poly now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Village Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season.

Poly didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-5 win against Sylmar on the 5th. As for Village Christian, they will challenge Maranatha at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Crusaders are facing the Minutemen at the right time seeing as the Minutemen are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
