Basketball Recap: Five Straight Road Wins for Flagler Palm Coast

Flagler Palm Coast extended their road winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Jasiah Sanders. The Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs secured a 54-49 W over the DeLand Bulldogs on Tuesday thanks in part to Sanders, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rebounds.

Another player making a difference was Anthony Hampton, who posted 20 points and five boards. The game was his fifth in a row with at least ten points.

Flagler Palm Coast is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 30.3% in those games and 19.7% outside of them. As for DeLand, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-7.

Flagler Palm Coast has already played their next contest (against Orange Park), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. DeLand will challenge Boone at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd.
