Trinity Christian Academy extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Tori Robinson. The Lions snuck past the McEwen Warriors with a 63-59 win on Saturday with plenty of help from Robinson, who shot 60% from the field on her way to 20 points and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 47% in the last ten games she's played dating back to last season.

Another player making a difference was Annelise Friend, who posted 12 points. Thanks to that strong game, she now owns an excellent 50% three-point shooting accuracy.

Despite the loss, McEwen still got an impressive performance from Laila Downs, who dropped a double-double with 40 points and 20 rebounds. That was a full 67.8% of the Warriors' points, marking the sixth time in a row Downs has earned more than a third of the team's points. Georgia Drinnen was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Trinity Christian Academy's record now sits at 4-1. As for McEwen, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Trinity Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 70-36 victory against Peabody on the 8th. As for McEwen, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 63-60 defeat against Dickson County on the 9th.
