If Westview was feeling good fresh off their 56-28 takedown of Reynolds last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats lost to the Glencoe Crimson Tide on the road by a 37-19 margin on Friday. The loss was the Wildcats' first of the season.

When it comes to explaining why Westview lost, don't look at Heath Thompson. Despite the final result, he rushed for 61 yards and two touchdowns. Thompson is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Having lost for the first time this season, Westview fell to 3-1. As for Glencoe, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0.
