Football Recap: Shady Spring Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Shady Spring took on PikeView on Friday. The Tigers were beaten by the Panthers 34-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Tigers have suffered against the Panthers since September 22, 2017.

Braydon Mullins was his usual excellent self, rushing for 158 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 7.9 yards per carry for PikeView. What's more, Mullins posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in October of 2024.

Shady Spring now has a losing record of 1-2. As for PikeView, their record is now 3-1.

Looking ahead, Shady Spring will venture away from home to take on Greenbrier East at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for PikeView, they will host Sissonville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
