Soccer Recap: Orangeburg-Wilkinson Takes a Loss

Orangeburg-Wilkinson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks. While losing is never fun, Orangeburg-Wilkinson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 200th, while Oceanside Collegiate Academy are ranked sixth).

Orangeburg-Wilkinson's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Oceanside Collegiate Academy, they pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orangeburg-Wilkinson will square off against Calhoun County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Orangeburg-Wilkinson are facing Calhoun County at the right time seeing as Calhoun County are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Oceanside Collegiate Academy, they will take on St. James at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
