 If the Scappoose Indians were riding high  off their  61-41 takedown of the St. Helens Lions last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Scappoose fell just short of Seaside by a score of  51-48. Scappoose has not had much luck with Seaside recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
 Scappoose lost  on Tuesday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Quinton Olson, who  scored 14 points.  Colton Sprenger was another key contributor,  scoring five points along with four  steals.
 Scappoose  struggled to get the ball back on offense and  finished the game with only  an  offensive rebound. That's the fewest  offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
 Scappoose's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Seaside, the  victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 14-4.
 Coincidentally,  the pair will both be playing Tillamook the next time they take the court. Seaside will  host Tillamook at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday, while Scappoose will  host them  at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
