Soccer Recap: Willard Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Willard was not quite Nixa's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell 2-0 to the Eagles. Willard have struggled against Nixa recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Willard now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for Nixa, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Willard will face off against Waynesville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Waynesville will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Willard surely won't give up without a fight. As for Nixa, they will take on Carthage at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
