Volleyball Recap: Stratford Falls Despite Big Games from Olivia North and Sophie Delise + How To Watch

Stratford lost against Masuk back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Red Devils came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-11, 25-14.

Stratford's loss came despite strong showings from Sophie DeLise and Olivia North. DeLise had 13 digs and one assist, while North had nine assists and four digs. DeLise is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Masuk was led to victory by Mary-Kate Boyle and Mia Tyler. Boyle had six digs and four assists, while Tyler had nine aces, four digs, and one block. That's the most aces Tyler has posted over her last ten matchups. Kaylen Kreiner also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Stratford now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Masuk, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Stratford has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Joel Barlow on the 26th. As for Masuk, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Cheshire on the 25th.
