Basketball Recap: Paradise Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins at Home

It was a good run, but Paradise unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 51-41 to the Winters Warriors. The game was a 17-17 toss-up at halftime, but the Bobcats couldn't quite close it out.

Leading Winters to victory were Lane Brown and Luke Felsen. Brown dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 boards, while Felsen posted 16 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Brown is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least nine every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Miles Mariani, who scored nine points.

Paradise's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-6. As for Winters, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Paradise will face off against Pierce at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pierce is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.8 points per game this season. As for Winters, they will square off against Durham at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Durham will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Winters surely won't give up without a fight.
