Basketball Recap: Round Rock Christian Academy Crusaders vs. Central Texas Christian Lions

Even though the Central Texas Christian Lions scored an imposing 62 points on Thursday, the Round Rock Christian Academy Crusaders still came out on top. Round Rock Christian Academy walked away with a 75-62 win over the Lions. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Round Rock Christian Academy also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Wes Owens was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 23 points and nine rebounds. He hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Jordan Greatting was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.

The victory makes it two in a row for Round Rock Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 13-15. As for Central Texas Christian, they dropped their record down to 3-14 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.

Round Rock Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against the Cougars at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central Texas Christian, they will be playing at home against the Celtics at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Holy Trinity Catholic is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
