Volleyball Recap: Wendover Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Wendover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Tintic Miners. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Miners this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17, 25-10.

Ani Despain was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 17 digs. That's the most digs she has posted over her last two contests.

Wendover's loss dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Tintic, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Wendover is set to take on their familiar foe Rich at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Tintic will square off against rival Tabiona at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
