Softball Recap: Quantico Comes Up Short at Home Against the Carmel School

Quantico unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of The Carmel School Wildcats on Tuesday. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Peyton Greene was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-3. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Quantico is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Foxcroft at 4:00 p.m. on March 25th. The Carmel School will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Quantico at 4:00 p.m. on April 10th.
