Volleyball Recap: Great Crossing Victorious

While Great Crossing's victory against Madison Central wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warhawks narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Indians 3-2. The Warhawks haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Great Crossing wouldn't go down easily and took Madison Central into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-23, 19-25, 25-16, 18-16.

Jenna Browning had an outrageously good game as she had 24 digs and six assists. Those 24 digs gave her a new career-high.

Great Crossing's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Madison Central, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Great Crossing will be taking part in a tournament against Russell at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Madison Central, they will be playing at home against Model at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
